Can you truly reach the Starmie in the sky?

I started to work on this team awhile back but here now reflecting back i feel its turned out pretty good. heres how i hit 2000 elo ingame and top 50 x2 on showdown with this team.

This Starmie is evd to outspeed stuff such as Max speed charizard y timid + sash garchomp while tanking Garchomp 32 Ada Earthquake & recoil from 2 atks (Rough Skin) incase you Liquidation into Aqua Jet to cover a switch. Kos mega Dragonite through Multiscale with Ice Spinner.

Chople Berry acts as a answer against M-Lopunny Aura Sphere can be Steel Beam if you wish for Flash Cannon into Steel Beam to pickup stuff such as Hippowdon without much spdef investment though i think aura sphere is def better in most cases. Arch also acts as a counter into Corviknight if you cant afford to bring charizard. beats toxapex 9/10 depending if infestation into crit dodge and all. Against Toxapex u can go for Flash Cannon on there Recover Hoping for Spdef drop so your Thunderbolt can Ko. Also pgood vs opposing M-Slowbro although being modest makes opposing White Herb Archaludon more tricky. Good vs Meowscarada & Mstarmie/Mlop/Mgengar (jet into sneak from Mimikyu). Good answer into Umbreon.

Mimikyu is the next addition to the team completing the Fantasy pokemon core F/D/S.

Its coverage into some important targets is huge. Shadow claw for iron defense pokemon in a pinch with its hightened crit rate aswell as a good last minute check to scale shot Garchomp/Basculegion in a endgame if you have Disguise still up. Evs to live Lopunny Triple Axel After Fake Out breaking Disguise, Meowscarada Triple Axel & afew rolls into stuff such as +1 mega Gyarados Earthquake after its Dragon Dance. It pressures alot of pokemon due to its high atk with Shadow Claw & can push further on that atk stat via Swords Dance.

Garchomp is here to save me against afew Matchups such as Scarf Basculegion, M-Lop in a pinch via Outrage & a second switchin for rock moves to protect M-Charizard Y + strong Earthquakes into pokemon such as Skeledirge, Slowking-G And M-Gengar. Stone edge for Volcarona & Zard-Y.

Fire fang hits Corviknight in a pinch hoping for a burn or flinch. Outrage is generally a nuke button although being locked into a move for multiple turns isnt ideal.

Kingambit was im not even gonna sugarcoat it... here for a singular mu and ngl could be Kommo-o 29/0-/0/20/0/17+ or Sash Hydreigon 2/0-/0/32/0/32+ with Stealth Rocks + Thunder Wave, Even Tinkaton with sash could work or Lucario... theres plenty of options although the reason its here is for Hex + Hypnosis M-Gengar Although it does also help the Basculegion Mu so thats really nice.

Mega Charizard-Y has been a top pokemon throughout its time allowed in vgc so i thought id try it out here in the final slot of my team. Its worked Incredible and i believe this mon to be one of the strongest in the format. Its ability to just delete a pokemon like Umbreon & Hippowdon with W-Ball into Overheat is insane. Air slash can be useful to pickup afew kos and Solar beam is vgood against opposing Primarina.

Issues with the team are afew underrated pokemon such as Shuca Berry Empoleon with Grass Knot, Ice Beam, Vacuum Wave & Surf. You need to sacrifice a mon to handle this pokemon before it runs away.

M-Lucario can cause problems with a rock move for yard + doing huge damage into most the team.

M-Gyarados (ngl idk how tf u deal with this thing at +2 Atk & speed) Ice fang can be problematic and it has mold breaker to ko Archaludon + Mimikyu before they can even move.
